Nazlan , I think you have written a letter that civers the heartaches of those who did make it into Part 3 Exam . I for one have failed 5 times and have given up taking the exam . I have my own way of practicing architecture. I Graduated in 1986 and passed my Part 2 in 1994 or 95 . Since then and after two yaers , I had attempted on the exam.and continously failing in it. Mt friend has missed a point in that there is this Buidling Draftsman who are recognised as " demi Professional " who get to to do submission to local Council for certain reniovation works. Those of us who failed have passed Part 2 and failed did not have such a privilege. There goes to say that even after 5 years of university study and working empteen years , we cannot still match them ( whose who had a cerificate and worked for some times and registered themselves as B.D.) . What a shame on us. as I had contracted them for a service for a renovation work submission for one of my relative. I have a bunch of friends (those who have B.Ach) who have failed to go through Part 3 .,and some time feeling miserable and self pity , expecially when you encounter some so called Prof. archs , their handling of projects and knowledge really make you wonder why he could ever pass the PArt 3 Exam .
